FESTIVAL IN A DAY

The Rev went off to Cardiff for another Uni stint and I made my festival picnic. I was uber excited!!!!
I got the train to Victoria and met up with my 2 tennis friends (+1) and we caught the bus to Hyde Park.
No alcohol and no bags bigger than an A4 file....ridiculous!!! How can you get mat, jumper and enough supplies to last 10 hours in a small bag. think I was a good girl at school cos all I wanted to do was break the rules!!

So with rum in a Capri Sun carton and a bag of wine as an ice pack under my sarnies I entered with confidence only to be stopped and had cans of coke removed!!! they got 1 of 3.
We had a brilliant day...Rita Ora, Boyzone, The Shires and more but Kylie Minogue singing with Jason was a definite highlight. The crowd went wild. She also sang with Rick Ashley.
We sang, danced, drunk and ate from 12-10pm. The sun shone (in fact it was quite hot) and the evening was warm...perfect.
