Birthday cake number 3!

The birthday celebrations are ongoing. Today three of Mum's embroidery friends came for the afternoon. I gave them a cuppa and cake. This small chocolate cake did well as the third birthday for this birthday. I'm pleased to say that the candles have lasted for all the cakes.

They had a good natter and put the world to rights. As usual, Rosemary brought some of her work to show to Mum. This time there were two embroidered cushions, one with smocking on the front. Lovely work.

I was at the Tynedale Photo Group tonight and heard a fascinating talk about photography and postage stamps.
