Champion Photographer

A few weeks ago our local paper the Evening Express ran a photo competition called "The Power of the Sea".There was three age catagories Primary 5-7, S1-3 and S4-6. Joe entered in the first of the three with the picture you see above and won. This was no mean feat as the area he won in is Aberdeen and the North East. In total there is seven areas and now he goes forward to the national final in his age group.

His prize is a £50 camera for himself and £300 of camera equipment for his school. If he wins the national prize he then gets a £150 camera for himself and £750 of equipment for his school. Even if he doesn't win the final we are still all extremely proud of him. I should point out that Joe is only 10 and has his own blipfoto account (Joe's blips) but he only put a blip on occasionally.
