A later start on Thursday, so Alfie came and kept me company. This slightly backfired when I actually needed to leave - he didn't want to. I chased him round the house for about 5 minutes, then had to have an emergency lint roller session to remove the ginger from myself.

The One Show were filming on the Riverside at Reading. I saw endless hints - filming trucks, people with cameras, a load of sea scouts, loads of boats on the river, a stage being built... but it didn't sink in at all that anything was happening.

Got home about 10.15, a slice of toast then straight to bed.
