Mike’s Beer

One of the more useful pesents I bought D for his birthday was this handy beer holder which attaches to his mic stand. It got its first outing tonight at band practice.

Mum, dad and I had a nice morning in Saffron Walden then I spent a couple of hours working, trying to get ahead before we go away this weekend.

In other news, Bertie sneaked out while I was bringing the shopping into the house and took himself off to a funeral wake in the church pavilion next door. A helpful person picked him up and took him all the way over to the vets at the other end of the village where I had to go and pick him up. Apparently it’s a legal requirement that all dogs have a identification tag on as well as being chipped. You learn something new every day.
