Sunlit Paddle

Kimmeridge Bay, adjacent to the Lulworth Ranges, is a lovely place.  It seems to be best when the tide is out, but it's picturesque with the sea lapping at the foot of the cliffs of Portland stone.

The extra photo is of the inside of a pillbox on the beach.  I expect that the bay was used during the preparation of Operation Overlord.
