Gymnastics and trains
This morning we met up with friends and went to the play gym in town. The kids had great fun jumping, swinging and balancing. Phoebe was supposed to be practicing her headstands as this was the one thing that she couldn’t do at her gymnastics class that she’s started going to. But the allure to play was just to great!
This afternoon we took a drive to the vintage railway to see the Union of South Africa go by. It was a beautiful train with a very load whistle that gave the kids a fright! There was just enough time for a quick walk to see the ducks before home to cook tea. I made mushroom Wellington’s. Phoebe was tucking right in and said “yum! I like this beef mum!” James and I giggled but didn’t tell her the truth till pudding time! There’s no getting out of eating her mushrooms anymore!
