Rememberance
We are in Dunedin to have a surprise celebration of a friends 65th birthday. As we drove past Queens Gardens, we saw all these crosses in front of the Cenotaph.
Each one had a name written on it- names of soldiers from Otago who died in different battles between 1914-1918.
It was sobering to see so many people from such a small population.
