Bridge over the Irwell

Today we had a lazy and late brunch then visited the Art Gallery where there was an exhibition by a woman called Annie Swynnerton - I really liked her work. She was an artist in the late 19th and early 20th century and was a bit of a leader and feminist. We finished our visit with a river boat cruise down to Salford Quays where we saw a wide variety of bird life which was great and the usual mix of wonderful old and new buildings :)
