Boulders
When the garden at OGH was first laid out - over 100 years go, the garden beds were all edged with boulders. We thought - naively - that it would be a good idea to dig them all up and re-seat them, because they have sunk further and further down into the ground over the years. It was ok for a while, because the boulders were quite small, but they have got progressively bigger and bigger and bigger.
So we have decided, with the wisdom that comes with experience, to leave them well alone.
