Jennie and I.

We're both pleased to be able to be here with Mum and Dad. Today we've seen a definite improvement in Mum. She looks more relaxed which means less pain. Good.

Jennie and Dad went out with friends to a play this afternoon. If it wasn't for the surgery Mum would have gone. I stayed home with Mum and took her out for her first outing. (Last night doesn't count as my brother lives in next street).

An ice cream and a short walk on the beach. Just enough to stir things up but the discomfort subsided. We watched a DVD together, drunk a little cider and I made us dinner of salad with crayfish and trout.
