Canada - Into the Rockies.

Left Calgary and headed into the Rockies. Following the road over Baldy Pass we headed up 2000meters into the mountains. Autumn colour was already starting to show and some snow from last year was still lying in sheltered areas, as can be seen here. The scenery was amazing with the hills rising strongly above us on either side. It was only when you realised we were already on a road that was higher than Ben Nevis and that the mountains around us were at least that high again that the awesome majesty of what we were seeing sank in. An amazing start to our trip.
