Sunday Rainbows.....

Rain during the night meant no harvest this morning. So in between other jobs I went and shifted the combine and header from last night’s field back down to the steading. Needing filled with diesel and a few minor repairs to an elevator chain. Yesterday’s emergency weld seems to be holding .
By mid afternoon there was a fair wind blowing, enough to help dry out the rows of straw. Went away to bale at 5pm, was getting on fine, then about 8.30pm the heavens opened. So another trundle back up the road in the dark and rain . Bugger !
