Flash Flood!

This is a road we normally take to get to BG from our home, but found it has been blocked off for the past few days with a warning sign posted- “Turn around, don’t drown!” There have been a lot of flash flood warnings for low lying areas around here.
The plants are loving it though! Daniel helped me take full advantage of this cooler, wet weather by planting three new trees in the “Food Forest” he is helping me create - Pomegranate, a second Plum to help the first one fruit better, and a Weeping Willow, which will look pretty by the stream but is also medicinal, so it passes my stringent test for new plantings in the back yard.
