Bargain!

Village horticultural show today, and it started with a shower of rain which didn't bode well for visitor numbers. However, villagers and visitors are a stalwart lot, and going to the annual show is a tradition.  The exhibition tent and the tables outside soon filled up, and then the sun came out!  Fellow Blippers MidgeholeDave, AuntieP and AiredaleKnitter all won cups for their excellent entries, and I came home with a huge bag of lovely fruit and veg for not much money from the auction at the end of the show (the photo only shows half of the goodies).  Grandchildren M & F came away with 2 large bags of cakes and tombola prizes, so they were happy too!
