Thick skinned

I may be daft trying to grow Leon’s and limes in Scotland.

The lemon tree has produced one small lemon which is very slowly ripening. The lime tree has even smaller fruits: I would say tiny ones. One got knocked off when kicking the football for the dog.

Good intense smell: will try it in a G & T before dinner. After Sunday School, the whole day has been spent weeding, removing ivy and tidying up and fertilising the roses in the front garden. Apart from one heavy downpour it has been a lovely if breezy day.

Now to get ready for the week ahead!
