Madge

I was invited up to take photos of Madge this morning - here she is, nearly two weeks old and a charmer! TJ came with me and we were enchanted by Madge and by the house - see extra - which they have owned for 52 years and kept as it was  - still gas lighting and a huge old fireplace with crane. The couple have since converted the barn and offer this house as somewhere to stay for friends and family. It's about as high as you can go up the mountain with stunning views all round.

We then treated ourselves to coffee followed by lunch at the Heron Gallery which is about to close for the season. A lovely relaxing time after the haring around of the last few days.

A sunny and warm day and I have just had a swim. The shrieks were loud enough to alert the cows in a field a considerable distance away.
