manatee

oh what a beautiful creature
and quite prehistoric
just half an hour drive
takes us to the Teco
power station where
during the winter months
the sea cows come to bathe
in the warm waters spewed out
from the plant .
I had no idea of their size and
they are so slow and docile
and difficult to photograph !
