Knockin' On Heaven's Door...

So a good long cycle with Monkey Boy, eventually cut short by his first real accident - hitting the front brake on wet leaves, and sliding off against a large stone wall. Fortunately, the helmet meant that injuries were limited to;

a) pride,
b) mud
c) dent in helmet...

To his credit, we walked back for a couple of minutes, and then he wanted back in the saddle...
