Penistone Show Yesterday

An early morning set of images taken on my phone and emailed through to the FB administrator.  The idea was that we should send photos through to them to show the show ground through the day.  Unfortunately good intentions failed to materialise and these didn’t make it onto the FB page so I thought I’d share them here instead.  A fairly full on day for those of us who were taking photographs and also for those looking after the admin and photo competition in the tent.  We had a much depleted team in the tent this year and a few people did an amazing job.  Penistone Camera Club act as the official photographers on the day and we also run a photo competition which is very popular.  Our tent was extra popular yesterday because of the wet weather in the afternoon and at times people were jammed solid in our much reduced space (bad weather last year meant that the show budget didn’t run to the size of tent we’ve had in previous years and this one cost over £500 to rent).  A good day despite the weather, though photographing in those light conditions was anything but easy.  And I was much too tired by the time we got home to do much else but cook and eat a meal and have a quick look through the photos to see if anything came out decent!  (It did, fortunately.)
