Celebrating 30 years

The Winchester Churches Nightshelter celebrated 30 years by holding a garden party today.

There were several speeches by the current manager, the original chair person and the Mayor of Winchester.

And then the Mayor cut the cake with a sword. I doubt that he has had to do that before.

And then we got everyone singing. It was great fun and there were lots of smiles around the room.

I’ve been to HtP’s house tonight for a lovely dinner. Always nice to be cooked for.
