Or is it 4 or even 5?  I have extra muscles tonight from shifting this lump of sandstone from place to place to try to find its permanent home!

Taking on board the consensus from blipfriends that it needed to be raised up a bit, I bought this planter, filled it with bricks and balanced the slab on top.  The intention was to cover the bricks with small pinkish-brown stones, but the bag I bought turned out to be very large grey and white pebbles and looked quite wrong.  Instead, I positioned a piece of old wood on top and will root round the garden for small brown stones to fill the gaps either side.  

It is now sitting, with its pot plant to one side so it's not lonely, close to the garden table and chairs and can be more readily seen and admired:-) It even has a lamp on the wall above it, so it can be illuminated at night!
