Erikousa island

We had booked a boat trip going to a nearby island called Erikousa. This consisted of sharing the boat with fruit and veg, boxes of food and on the way back a music system and a motorbike!

The island itself was a very strange mixture. We saw some very derelict and abandoned houses but there was also a lot of building work going on. There was a brand new road, a large marina (with a few small boats in it) and lots of luxury villas half built. The island also had a helipad. It would seem that they are expecting people with lots of money to be staying at some point.

At the moment there is little to do and unfortunately after we got organised on the beach we had the first cloud cover of the holiday and the sun disappeared. Still it was nice to be on the water and have a little change of scenery.
