Wrinkly (Day 1221)

After another damp morning wander with the woofers, I spent a while on household chores whilst waiting for  my beautiful wife to return home from work.
On her return, we had coffee and a slice of the cake  I made yesterday. It is pretty reasonable, though I overmixed it so it is a little heavier than I would have liked. HV reckons it is "lush".
The rest of the morning was spent on various other household chores, hoping for an improvement in the dreich weather. Grey skies and drizzle after lunch meant an uninspiring wander along the shore at Stromness. 
The flowers in the vase in the kitchen are past their best, but interesting enough for a bit of macro photography.
