Open Door

Today we visited the Estate with our visitor. We tried to find mushrooms, and picked a few which made good eating later, but also visited the House on Open Door day. There we heard another visitor say that the Sheriff has found in favour of the Council in the case of the barrier put up on one of the main routes into the Estate from Penicuik. Afterwards, we visited the Hurley Pond, where Django got filthy swimming in it, so I had to throw a stick to get him into the Low Pond for a wash. Despite the picture, he wasn't very near the swans.
