So this happened...

Dear Diary,

I dragged out the suitcase finally to pack for Scotland and left it open on the guest room bed while I went to gather some clothes.  When I returned I found this!  No, sweet boy, airline regulations forbid carrying cats in checked bags!  He knows, when the suitcase comes out, he's heading for the Fuller Holiday Camp for Cats.  Thankfully, after the initial drama of getting there he loves it.

John came yesterday for a quick garden clean-up.  I helped a bit but mostly I wandered around saying good-bye to the flowers and taking pictures.  Many will be gone by the time I return.
