They're not so timid ...

... as they used to be, and I love the days when Eastern Rosellas visit my garden. I've taken photos of these beauties before, but always through the fly screen - now I can open my front door and take photos from my veranda without them flying away in freight.

This photo was taken using my Canon PowerShot SX40 using the maximum zoom, so not the clearest photo ever, but good enough for you to see the beautiful colours of my shy little friend.
