Garden city.....

......Christchurch is well known as the Garden City of NZ and today it didn't let me down. 

Spring blossom and blooms looked beautiful against a blue sky with white clouds drifting through, butterflies danced in the breeze while small birds nibbled long grasses.

I thoroughly enjoyed wandering through the city with blipper JMK, we discovered a new mural of our native birds, it did look very spring-like with the flowers and bees included.

Christchurch is certainly changing, modern architecture mingling with old, tourists down by the river with camera's in hand, people smiling and chatting as they wandered, it had that good feeling even though there is still more work to be completed.

Thanks J for a lovely time, nice to sit and chat for a while over lunch before going our separate ways.

Saturday.....loved being in the garden city today :)
