Puffing along
The old puffer , VIC 32 , was back today puffing it’s way along the Moray Firth out past Chanonry Point and along to Fort George before turning round and heading back to the Muirtown basin where it will be moored for the next couple of days.
We parked at the Point, paid for the carpark ! and walked round to watch it.A lovely morning and pretty quiet now the children have gone back to school.
Quite a sight with the very black smoke billowing from it’s chimney. We did see white smoke coming out when it was entering the lochs at Clacknaharry .
We had to go to the tip again to get rid of the packaging the tumble drier had come in and more cardboard that seems to appear from no where.
Had a chat with my Mum and Dad, much cooler down there now so my Dads been able to get out for a few walks and has managed to blip a few times ;) He has an app that he can speak into and it writes down the words ( hope I’ve got that right Dad ;) ? )
Feeling for IsleMum as she struggles to get accommodation sorted although I think it’s something she can focus her angry/ frustration at. Hoping things become a lot clearer once she’s been home and away from the hospital.
Another beautiful evening with pretty skies and low sunshine .
