Pohutukawa

We are holidaying at Miranda for a week. Fortunately the weather looks as if it's going to be kind to us. Nearby there are shell banks and tidal flats where Shore Birds gather and feed so we are hoping to see a few seabirds within camera reach.
It seems far too early for pohutukawa to be flowering.
