Up this morning and while Kent went to do our part towards cleaning the church building, I spent the morning doing all those things you can’t do before hand to get read to head off for the weekend.

We get ready to go and between all the radio playing and leaving doors open yesterday, while cleaning my car and then again this morning packing the car, I drained the battery!

Thank goodness for Runyon and the loan of his quick charger. We were on the road!

Stopped by the home place in Deep Run as a limb fell last night and had taken out the power. The utility pole was so rotten it half came down too. Kent’s niece got the power company to come and take care of everything and they did it in a timely manner too. We wanted to see where the limb fell from etc.

Got to the hotel with just enough time to check in & drop our stuff off and then we headed straight for Union Point Park & the Convention Center.

Got checked in at the volunteer desk and had 30 minutes to look around before I had to work the merchandise table until 8:30.

I’m tired and it’s an early start tomorrow
