Starters...or hors d'ouvres!

Well, we got to the hospital for 8am....and waited.....and waited.
D finally got a bed at 3pm. The procedure went well and he was allowed home later in the evening all bound up like Pudsey Bear! (I hid my smile!)

The planned evening dinner with two very good friends went ahead. I made my favourite starter.

It's been a long day!
