Kiki and Dolly

I took Kiki up to the vet today to discuss her melanoma! We have pretty much decided that surgery is not an option, the location would make it impossible to get a clean margin! I mentioned a few things I'd read up on, although melanoma is so rare in rabbits there is almost no information, and there may be options there! We are getting a referral to the oncology department up at the vet school, they will be able to help with diagnostics, treatment and prognosis, so we will at least get an idea of the situation! Kiki is happy and well at he moment, long may it continue!
