St Aidans Country Park
This is a back blip. I was going to post it the other day but have not been very well, I think I've had a chill and been so cold and achy for the past few days. I did feel a bit better today but still not taken any pics so thought I would use this one. It was such a lovely sunny day when I took it. If you can see the figures and the fence in the distance by the lake that is where they have build a sandstone wall for the sand martins to nest in. One of the wardens lent us his powerful binoculars to see them, they were wheeling round and in and out of the nests, you can only see it from the other side because of the way it's built.
