Sunset at the Football

I finished editing the wedding photos for my English friend and took them over to her this afternoon. The kids were off on a play date so we had time to chat over coffee and plum cake. 
This evening we went to the football club and were served roast beef in a root vegetable sauce with dumplings, turkey and pasta salad then plum cake for dessert. This is the time of the year when plum cake abounds.
The clouds were lit up after the sunset and we did get some drizzle during the game. No problem for us as we were nice and dry watching through the open windows. A very scrappy game but we won.
