El Toro.

This is one of many stunning views from the highest point on Menorca. At 1122ft El Toro has a 360 degree view of the island and is a favourite place of ours to visit. It is still a working nunnery and has a very lovely church here too. After a beer looking out over the little island we headed home for lunch and a snooze afterwards.

This evening we headed for Fornells where we had a very nice meal sitting just a couple of feet from the lapping water of the harbour, quite idyllic. Well almost. Our little mozzie friends were out in force and did manage a few select bites before the mozzie coils came out! despite this it was a lovely meal. Then home for anther good read. I am on my third book, ‘Sapiens, a brief history of mankind’. A bit more meaty than the last book!
