Plantation by Moonlight
Quiet, lazy day.
Fairly sharp, the frost stayed in the shadows all day.
Went out for some coffee and fresh air late on.
Drove round the headland,
The sky was refusing to do anything exciting and nothing was happening
in the harbour mouth or round the cliffs.
So I drove into the setting sun and stopped beyond Westhill.
After the light had gone from the sky I looked for something else to photograph.
I wandered into a plantation and started to photograph the saplings
in their deer proof tubes.
They were catching the ambient light and almost seemed to glow.
Slightly spooky standing in a glowing wood in the middle of nowhere.
