The Annual Apple Blip

Hot on the heels of the Annual Blackberry Blip a few days ago comes another staple of this time of year, The Annual Apple Blip.

We spent the afternoon picking as much as we could reach of this year's cooking apple crop. The hot weather seems to have taken its toll and there aren't as many apples as in previous years but we managed to pick 4 carrier bags full. Hopefully there are a few more that might swell up with a bit of rain in the next couple of weeks.

Spent the morning doing a bit of sanding down of paint work in the kitchen (we decided we can't put off repainting much longer) followed by an hour or so in the outdoor pool.
