Life goes onwards

Tilly came to us upset by the thought of mortality.
That's a tricky one to sort out. Anyway we got looking at the family tree as an illustration that life goes on and people come and people go and that it must make some sort of sense but I'm buggered if I know what it is (I didn't say that bit of course).
