A Close Encounter!

In town this morning .... in church to make soup for Sunday and then a trip to Mandors for some quilting supplies.

I noticed a fair number of policemen and their motorcycles blocking off some of the roads ..... I thought at first it was to keep people away from the areas where the workmen were dealing with the buildings affected by the fires ..... I spoke to one friendly policeman and asked if something was happening.

Reply: 'The Prince of Wales is just round the corner' and sure enough he was. Quite a crowd gathered outside the newly refurbished Willow Tearooms waiting for the Prince and Duchess to appear. If you see a crowd join it and I did!
