Christmas Market!

Day two of our mystery weekend away took us to Manchester! I can't say it's my favourite city (sorry Manc blipfriends). I prefer historical cities like York and Chester, but we still enjoyed it. Thankfully the sun was shining today so it did look better than my last visit.

There was a lovely Christmas Market on at the rear of the Town Hall (beautiful building, been to a meeting in there and it has a stunning interior). Wandered around, enjoyed a glass of mulled wine and a coconut maccaroon. It was a really nice thing to do actually, and I began to feel a bit festive!

It's been a lovely weekend again. I love these mystery coach trips away, and I'm now looking forward to the last once we'll do this year on 22nd December. I'm sure it'll be very festive indeed!
