Technoloy, Friend Or Foe ?

The theme of this month's  Smart Read magazine from the eye clinic. It's a bit of both for me but I have the patience to fiddle about until I find out what I need to know. Some of us are less enthused by the cacophony of mobile phones (particularly on public transport), buttons and flashing lights that we find ourselves surrounded with these days. Early technology was quite  complicated to use but over the last decade or so it has become vastly more accessible and easy to use for older people like me. I can talk face to face with family overseas and keep in touch with friends anywhere. Buying a digital camera and finding blip through a friend on social media has been awesome !
