Day 322

So I had all sorts of grand plans to get lots of shots of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales today, the quaint little villages in and around where our friends live. I was going to get up out early on such a lovely, bright, frosty day with my camera and make the most of the beautiful surroundings. Things did not go according to plan...

A stupidly late night with one too many beverages (I blame Spotify entirely. It's far too tempting to have a song off with your friends) put the stoppers on getting up and out early. The promise of a lie in, a roaring fire and bacon sarnies instead was just too tempting. Then when we did get out we drove to Haworth and couldn't find anywhere to park as there was something going on in the village. Then when we did manage to pull over the battery died on my camera. So all this combined with a hangover resulted in us pulling over at the side of the road and me getting this with my iPhone.

Good job we had a fab night and it was all totally worth it! Roast beef and all the trimmings for dinner and I think and early(ish) night will be in order.
