Lovely wee day today :)

Up and awake early I decided to take the bus into town for a pre-church stroll through the Meadows. The sun was shining, the sky was blue, the leaves were golden and an (I think) arts student was walking through dressed as some form of deer.

As you do. Followed by other (I think) arts students following with cameras as said deer stalked along the path, generally confusing other Sunday-strollers as they tried to figure out whether the deer was going to approach or not.

Bizarre.

But otherwise delightful :)

And arriving to church more or less the same time as Fee was also a bonus - flat subconscious?

Lunch with Fiona, Andy and Rory...always good! Rory is now at the rather fun 3-and-a-bit stage...cue running commentary of anything/everything *, imitations of bunny rabbits and brilliant tomato soup moustaches.

*For example... Coming along some of New Town's bumpy streets in the car - "this is a bumpy road...this isn't a bumpy road...there's a light over there" and then further cobbled street approaching "there's a bumpy road"
*coughs* "coughing!"
*yawns* "tired!"
And apparently upon waking up from his nap, Rory sat up and stated "See Mim" - quite the compliment I think!

Talking of naps - my intended quick sofa-nap turned into an extended bed-nap which, after initial post-nap grogginess, has now left me feeling just a little too awake!
