High, Puffy Clouds

Two hours later we were in the middle of a downpour with winds strong enough to break the pole our flag waves from.
But the curious thing about this picture is the distortion.  I have posted it just as it came from the camera, no special lens or photoshop at all.   but the house closest to the camera seems to be leaning forward while the white house at the beginning of the next block seems to be leaning back.
I don't get it.
