Cow Holiday in the Mountains

.... is nearly over, and, sadly, the lives of their male calves are also nearly over. They will be killed for beef. They are now separated from their mums and running around in a pack. Look at those beautiful eyes and ears, it is so unfortunate to be born a cow! Either you will be killed before your first birthday if you are a male, or kept pregnant to supply milk and beef if you are a female. The Swiss cows have a short season of fun in the mountains then are locked up in a barn for the long winters. Then there is the methane they produce.....poor cows.
