The entrance gate

is closed.
Behind it is a beautiful avenue, which runs alongside the castle to the stables of the adjacent farm, and then to the footpath that rises up the mountain. I am not so well informed about the right of way, but we always made unsolicited use of what we thought 'our right'. Let us hope that this situation is short-lived.
