My Last Visit.....

It was my final visit to see the Poppies at Middleport Pottery in Stoke-on-Trent today. This time with my other half. 

The final locations for both the Poppies sculptures - Wave and Weeping Window are the IWM North (Wave) and London (Weeping Window) later this year.

They will then go into the long-term ownership of the Imperial War Museums and become part of IWM’s permanent collection.

I don't think the artist and designers behind them ever realised the impact this simple sculpture would have.
