ready, steady .... the Tour of Britain's in town.

Stage 5 of the tour is a team time trial, starting in Cockermouth.  We wander into town to see the pre-race fun.  

From a blip point of view, the pre-race stuff is more interesting.  There's a lot going on to get the show on the road.  

We're lucky to have the start here, so we get to see how the local shops have embraced the Tour, the motor cycle escorts, even Geraint Thomas waiting for the Sky team to assemble.   See extras.

We then find a handy uphill corner to watch the race, just yards from where we're staying.  A fun day.
