A close call

This is my s-i-l ‘s cycling helmet. If she hadn’t been wearing it, this would have been her skull.

She hit a kerb, flew horizontally through the air and went head first into a stone wall. Broken elbow, nine stitches in her knee, temporary damage round the eye socket.....

Holiday in France cancelled. But alive!
